“It’s Good To Be King!”

I am always amazed when I hear or read an answer that says, “Well that’s the rule. That’s what I said I was going to do and I’m sticking with it.”

My answer always is “Well who made the rule? Was it you? Have you ever changed your mind? Have conditions changed since you made your rule?”

Seems to me if a person made the rule, a person can change the rule.

Falling back on “That’s what I said I would do!” has always seemed weak to me.

Maybe it’s because I remember when I was a kid that’s what my Mother used for an argument when she couldn’t think of anything else.

“Because I said so!”

Sound familiar?

So guess what…..I’m changing my “rule”.

A few days ago, I told you about the left over “radio special” packages I was offering to you for the Probate DVD package, “Seminar-in-a-Box”. At that time I had 23.

Kind of The Probate Guy’s version of “The People’s Stimulus Package!”

Well, as I suspected, they were gobbled up pretty quickly….in just two days as a matter of fact.

So what I ended up with was more orders than I had packages.

So I said to myself, “Ronbo, you made the original 100 so why can’t you just make enough more to take care of the folks who really want to take advantage of the special price?”

Change the rule.

So I did.

And we filled all the orders.

Then late yesterday, I got a call from a very nice young lady saying she really, really wanted to take advantage of this offer but she wondered if she could possibly order on this Friday because that’s the day her husband was getting paid.

“Please, please, please!” she pleaded.

I started to tell her that I had sold out of the packages but then I caught myself.

Sounded like a “Mom’s” answer to me.

Change the rule, you big dummy!

Make more packages.

So I did.

Maybe I should call these guidelines rather than rules, don’t you think.

So here’s the new guideline.

Rather than say I only have X amount available, I am going to just use an ending date for the “special”.

How’s about this Sunday?….April 5th. Four more days. Palm Sunday if I read my calendar correctly

That should give everybody enough time.

That way I can make sure everyone who wants to take advantage of this special price and package, is able to……period.

So I am officially extending my “Radio Special” offer through Sunday April, 5th!
