“The Power of Focus!”
Now that most of the holiday celebration has
wound down, this is a great week to get a jump
start on 2010.
I’m sure many of you will be getting lot’s
of emails about doing your goal setting for
2010 and I’m wondering if you have given any
thought as to why goal setting works.
Can just writing down what you want to achieve
actually make you successful?
Can you just write down, “I’d like to make
an extra $100,000 in 2010!” and it will magically
appear?
Well, not really.
But writing out what you would like does have many
benefits.
The first of those is it requires you to give some
thought as to what you really DO want.
Secondly, once you have planted in your sub-
concious mind what you want to achieve, it
can go to work getting that for you.
But here’s the real advantage goal setting
has for you.
It gets you focused!
It gets you moving in the right direction and
if you review your goals daily as I have suggested
in the past, it will keep you focused.
Do any of you remember earlier this year when I
talked about the “BSO” disease?
BSO….oh not another strain of flu the government
wants us to worry about?
No not really……BSO stands for “Bright Shiny
Object” so BSO disease are those distractions
that come along daily that get us off course.
Let’s say you are three weeks into getting your
Probate Real Estate career started and today
you receive an email telling you about this
“secret” new method that the author’s “best
friend” has been using for years now to make
$100,000 each and every month with REO houses
and for a mere $97 you can purchase this “new”
system.
That, my friend, is a “BSO”……a bright shiny
object that suddenly appears and has all
the potential of getting you off course.
Has that ever happened to you?
I’ll bet it has.
Especially if you have subscribed to anything
online…..you probaly get lot’s of BSO offers
every day and if you don’t watch out you will
soon get the dreaded BSO disease.
That’s why goal setting and reviewing is so
important….it reminds you where you are
heading and keeps you on track.
So for those of you who have started your
Probate Real Estate investing career but
got bogged down in the last six weeks of
2009, I suggest you write down your 2010
goals for your new program and stick to them.
Don’t get sidetracked…….No BSO’s!
I am totally convinced that Probate Real
Estate is the single greatest opportunity
in Real Estate investing for the average person
who has no experience and little or no
money.
Ands it’s even better in today’s
depressed RE market.
So if you got partially started, now’s the
time to get back on track
.
If you are still wondering about the
opportunity, make your decision today and
get going.

Now want a little peak at my goal journal
for 2010?
I started working on this back in October and
the first thought that came to my mind was,
“What would make me consider 2010 a successful
year?”
After asking myself this question for about a
month, here’s what I came up with.
“I would consider 2010 a successful year for me if
I could help more of you become successful!”
Yep, I’m mesuring MY success by my being able
to make YOU a success and here’s how I’m doing it.
I am hereby committed to giving you one new tool
each month to help you with your Probate investing.
Yep, one a month!
That means over the next twelve months, I will
offer you twelve new tools.
Now I can hear you saying, “What does “tool”
mean?”
Good question….here’s some examples.
A live 3 day “Probate Mastery” seminar personally
conducted by me on Jan 29-31, a new
online forum, a membership site, a webinar,
an interview with a successful student, a
semnar on how to sell the house once
you get it, a Sat morning Q & A etc.
In other words, I am going to do everything
possible short of coming to your home and
doing the deal for you, to make you successful
in Probate Real Real estate in 2010.
Some of these tools will be free and some will
require an investment but they all will be
very valuable or I won’t put my name on them.
But here’s the one requirement for you.
I only want folks who are truly committed
to improving their financial well being.
So if you are not serious, you won’t get
an invitation.
Now the best way to make sure that you get
the opportunity to succeed is to study some
of the material I offer. Whether it be the
downloadable pdf,
http://BuyProbateProperty.com
or the “Seminar-in-a-Box” DVD series that shows
me actually doing a Probate transaction,
http://BuyProbateProperty.com/special-dvd
These will tell you very clearly whether Probate
is for you.
Later this week, I’ll be giving you more information
on what’s in the tool box for 2010 so be sure to
watch your inbox for more newsletters.
In the mean time, how about giving some thought to
goals you might want to achieve in 2010?
And stay away from those nasty BSO’s!
